Discusses future of insurance agency and association management on webinar

(Dewitt, New York -  May 18, 2015) - Dick Poppa, president and CEO of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of New York, is featured in the latest episode of Monday Morning, a popular weekly insurance show. The episode, titled Glancing Back - Planning Forward, consists of a wide-ranging discussion of issues facing insurance agency and association management.

Hosted by George Nordhaus, chairman of consulting firm AgenciesOnline, Monday Morning is a weekly "mini-webinar." Each episode focuses on one subject on marketing, management, technology or communications that affects independent insurance agencies. The panelists are recognized experts in that particular subject.

In this episode, Poppa and Nordhaus are joined by David VanDelinder, recently retired former executive director of the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas. They discussed current issues in agency and association management, including changes brought about by Internet technology and the competition from insurance companies that sell directly to consumers without agents.
