January 2022:   A Holiday E&O Report Review Rhyme

E&O Report Header
January 2022 |  Volume 37, Number 1

It has been twenty-four long months
Since our last Holiday rhyme
Because two years have now passed
We thought it was again time

So, in this Holiday E&O Report
We will take the following lines
To summarize last year’s E&O reports
We hope you enjoy the rhymes

We started off the year
Discussing Winter weather claims questions
We provided our thoughts on handling customers
And gave various other suggestions

In March we wrote about
A new special relationship court decision
And, about how if you proceed carefully
You can help avoid E&O litigation

In June we covered
The Regulation 187 appeal
How we had defeated the Department
The court found it unconstitutional, for real

The June topic we wrote on
Was, students away at college
How in addition to learning in classes
They must also have insurance knowledge

In the Fall we covered
Several situations that can cause E&O claims
And procedures that if followed
Can help an agency avoid pain

Recently, we wrote about
Additional insured coverage
How understanding the forms and endorsements
Will provide an agency with leverage

In December we reviewed
Two important decisions from courts
That every agency should be aware of
So that they don’t get caught short

So now with 2021 ended
And as we start a new year
Remember, whenever you need legal help
KWC is always right here!

All of the partners, associates, and staff at Keidel, Weldon & Cunningham, LLP, wish each and every one of you a happy, healthy and prosperous new year!
