NY Property-Casualty Agent’s (PC) & Broker’s (BR) Licenses

Question: “I have a New York Property-Casualty Agent’s (PC) license. What do I have to do to obtain a New York Property-Casualty Broker’s (BR) license?”

Answer: The holder of a PC license is automatically qualified to hold a BR license, and the holder of a BR license is automatically qualified to hold a PC license. If you hold one and would like to obtain the other, complete the online license application on the New York State Department of Financial Services website and pay the appropriate license fee.
