Take your career to the next level with our pre-licensing program (no monitor required), offering courses like property & casualty (P&C) and personal lines only.
If you were born in an even-numbered year, your license will expire on your birthday in an even-numbered year. If you were born in an odd-numbered year, your license will expire on your birthday in an odd-numbered year. Expiration dates are displayed on all licenses.
All business licenses expire on June 30 of odd-numbered years. If you have an individual license in good standing, your individual CE requirements will cover your corporate CE requirements.

Please note: You will have a 3-hour window to take the pre-licensing exam. A grade of 70% is required to gain a passing credit.

Exam Simulator
The Exam Simulator is a Windows-based computer program available via an online access code that simulates the Property & Casualty or Life, Accident & Health state exams as a supplement to classroom instruction and/or self-study materials.
PSI
Administers all licensing examinations for the Department of Financial Services. Exam reservations and payment can be made with PSI online under the Government/State Licensing Agencies Tab.
Agent License
- Requires 90 classroom hours.
Broker License
- Requires 90 classroom hours OR “Statement of Employer”
