Five Years Later, Leadership Academy Is Still Transforming Insurance Agency Leaders
When we created Leadership Academy, we knew it was needed and would be valuable for our members. What we didn’t count on was the overwhelming success we have experienced. Now, five years later, with over 115 graduates of the program, we are getting ready for our next cohort starting September 16.
A few highlights…
We have had participants from the largest agencies, principals from “two- man” shops, and even someone who was just starting in the business. We have had people with over twenty years of experience, people who direct 20+ team members, and people with no title or any direct reports.
However, the feedback we receive from our graduates is fairly universal:

Topics covered include managing a remote workforce, setting realistic goals, the core tool of intrinsic validation, addressing poor performance, leading versus motivation, time management, and having productive meetings. Now, I know what you are thinking: “Yeah, yeah, heard this before,” or “My local chamber of commerce offers a Leadership Class.” Well, they may indeed, but do they center it around the operations inside an independent agency? I don’t think so.
