About
Nick Johnson is the Director of Technology for Big I New York, where he leads enterprise IT strategy, system modernization, digital transformation, and AI initiatives supporting independent insurance agents.
In addition to his association leadership role, Nick is the Founder and President of Ataviz Consulting, a technology and AI advisory firm that helps organizations navigate IT modernization, data strategy, and artificial intelligence adoption.
Prior to his current roles, Nick worked on government contracts supporting federal agencies including the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), delivering data analytics and automation initiatives that improved compliance, operational efficiency, and decision-making across complex public-sector programs.
Nick holds a Master’s degree from Le Moyne College and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Binghamton University. He resides in Oswego, NY, with his wife, two children, and two dogs.
