Our City & State P&C Insurance Summit Brought Together Policymakers and Industry Leaders in Albany
On February 4, 2025, Big I New York and NY First partnered with City & State to host the P&C Insurance Summit in Albany, NY. With more than 200 policymakers and insurance industry stakeholders in attendance, the event fostered critical discussions on the challenges facing New York’s insurance market.
As industry leaders, we remain committed to advocating for a strong, sustainable insurance landscape. By bringing together experts, decision-makers, and advocates, the Summit served as a vital platform for education and dialogue because a state without insurance is a state at risk. We are proud to lead the charge in shaping a more stable, accessible, and affordable insurance market for New York.
In addition to Adrienne Harris, former DFS Superintendent, and many policymakers, we would like to extend a special thank you to all our industry leaders for sharing their valuable insights.
